|Rachel Miner - Biography|
Award-winning actress Rachel Miner is somewhat of an enigma; ever-changing, impossible to pigeon-hole. |
To some, she's, "...Hollywood's kooky indie princess...", known for her extensive body of work in critically acclaimed films such as Larry Clark's, "Bully" (2001); to others, she's the serious, New York, theater actress, known for her work in Anne Frank (with Natalie Portman, on Broadway) and Rebecca Gilman's Blue Serge (at The Public); or is she perhaps, the saucy, sex-pot she portrayed as kinky secretary Dani, in seasons 1 and 2 of Showtime's Californication?
The more one looks, the more the mystery thickens... across the pond she is known as fun-loving, promiscuous, Astrid, for her hilarious performances on Channel 4's "NY-LON" ( with Stephen Moyer of True Blood, and Rashida Jones of The Office). And Miner has even garnered the tile of "Scream Queen" for her roles in Hide (2008), Penny Dreadful (2006) and NBC's anthology series, Fear Itself.
